On 17 December, 2018, CGE Managing Director Douglas Kennedy was a featured speaker at a gathering of approximately 50 creative industry owners and executives in Tokyo Japan. The event was sponsored by the New Otani Hotel and various chapters of the Tokyo Rotary Club. The main topic of discussion was the potential for partnerships between Canadian SMEs and Tokyo-based architects, designers, graphic media and similar professionals seeking to test and adapt their concepts to various language and cultural sub-markets by using major Canadian urban centers before tackling larger national markets.
