Lessons from Hollywood for Canadian High-Tech SMEs

The Canadian Trade Commissioner Service has come out with a good article on the success Canadian digital media, computer graphics and virtual reality businesses are having with the movie and computer gaming industry in California.

It reports how these companies establish themselves, build relationships and successfully compete with other companies, both large and small, from all over the world. In doing so, the article provides lessons and examples that could usefully be applied by almost any Canadian SME and trying to survive and grow in advanced technologies where competition is global and the domestic market is limited.
